Honoring the Legacy of Sherri Roush Arruda

For over 20 years, Sherri Roush Arruda was the heart and soul of our volunteer community at The Kylee Lillich Charitable Giving Tree. As an elementary teacher at a Title I school, Sherri spent her life advocating for children. Through our holiday Giving Tree, she made sure her students in need received new toys, warm clothes, daily necessities, and special holiday wishes.

Sherri’s dedication extended far beyond the classroom. She was a constant, smiling presence at our annual Sort Days and Charity Golf Tournaments, always ready to lend a hand.

The Giving Tree was an important part of Sherri’s life. Throughout her teaching career, she made hundreds of families’ holiday wishes come true. Every November she made sure all teachers at Franklin Elementary referred any children in need of some Christmas magic. Each year she helped shop, sort, and deliver gifts and needed items to the families she loved. She did this quietly and without acknowledgment, preferring the attention be on the kids. It’s in this giving spirit that we know Sherri would love more families to receive this little bit of magic during the holidays.

Carry Her Mission Forward

Sherri had a profound desire to serve children who are facing poverty, grief, homelessness, or hospitalization. By making a donation in her memory today, you ensure that her life's mission continues to shine brightly.

On behalf of the Giving Tree, and Sherri’s family and friends, thank you for honoring her legacy through your generosity.

Our Mission

The Kylee Lillich Charitable Giving Tree  was founded in 2002 after the sudden tragic loss of our twin, Kylee, at 23 months old.  Our charity is dedicated to bringing Kylee's hope and joy to others through our all- volunteer, 501c3 charity.  We help grieving, homeless, and hospitalized children in need year-round that are referred to us by nurses, teachers, and social workers.  We provide new toys, new clothes, necessities, and special wishes year round and with a holiday Giving Tree.

Our Vision

Our vision is to continue to bring together  generous donors with an all-volunteer charity  that serves children all year.  Now, with a new generation of  Kylee's siblings and cousins also at the helm, we will continue to help more than the 15,000 children we've served so far.
