Check out these easy little fresh fruit kabobs that are easily customizable to a theme or color, and SO delicious! Get the kids involved in more than just the eating – put them to work making these as a fun foodie craft!
It’s the first week in June already which means 4th July is just around the corner. I want to share with you some sweet treats I made – they’re super easy and took about 8 minutes start to finish!
I’m a huge fan of no-bake desserts in summer. I’m an even bigger fan of enlisting the kids to help and calling it a craft. Seriously, my boys think this is GREAT fun and although plenty of the ingredients ended up in their mouths vs on the sticks, I’m still calling it a win. It IS FOOD ON STICKS after all!
These come together super quickly (way less than 20 minutes). I think they look pretty as red white and blue fruit kabobs, but you could easily change up the flavors and colors to suit any occasion. Pick your favorite fruits (I like oranges, pineapple and kiwi on sticks!).
Just a few ingredients – blueberries, raspberries, marshmallows and wafer cookies – and look!! Instant dessert, fruit skewers are so easy that you can make ahead or make on the spot as an activity.
These fruit kabobs are a GREAT way to get your fruit in – make them this summer and watch them disappear FAST. You could make a yogurt dipping sauce if you want, too. I just use vanilla yogurt as a fruit dip, but you could add marshmallow fluff to make it super sweet if you like!
Don’t make these only on 4th July. Get creative, and make pink and white ones/blue and white ones for a baby shower, rainbow ones for a birthday party or make them in your favorite sports team’s colors for game day.

How to make fruit kabobs
- Gather raspberries, blueberries, marshmallows and mini wafer cookies in your chosen color.
- On wooden skewers, add a raspberry, a cookie, a marshmallow, and a blueberry and repeat until your skewer is full.
- Serve immediately.
- Nom Nom Nom
Kylee’s Notes:
- Make these as an after dinner activity, they’re best eaten fresh!
- Use different varieties of fruit to make rainbow fruit kabobs – fresh pineapple, apple, strawberries, bananas, blackberries, green grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew, – you name it, you can put it on a stick and call it dessert.
- This is easy to multiply for bigger groups – just grab as many bamboo skewers as you’ll need and get threading!
- Make a dipping sauce if you want to be totally decadent. Melted chocolate (white, milk or dark), or marshmallow fluff blended with cream cheese is a great idea!
