Homemade  Strawberry Turnovers with Puff Pastry

Strawberry turnovers are a welcome addition to any breakfast or brunch table!  They are super easy to make, use simple ingredients and customisable 👉

INGREDIENTS

Make the filling; cook the strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice & vanilla extract as directed below.

Roll out the puff pastry dough and slice into squares.

Place a spoonful of cooled strawberry filling onto  each pastry squares.

Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle. Seal the edges with a fork. Brush with a egg wash.

Bake for 15- 20 mins. then cool.

Drizzle glaze over the pastries and serve!  Glaze recipe included  below.
